Pneumatic Finger Abrasion Wear & Contact Tester
Model F-T

A fast and inexpensive method of endurance testing printed surfaces as well as contacts in electric switches.

A foam tip is used to simulate finger pressure. Three different nose pressure settings 8oz., 16oz., and 32oz. are achieved with inter-changeable springs located in the "nose piece" housing.

Abrasion Testing
15 Degree Angle

There are two cylinder angle settings. Vertical positions are used when testing switch contact endurance. The 15 degree angle is used for testing switch or printing endurance by simulating a finger tip striking a printed surface or a switch and causing an abrasive action.

Power is supplied using compressed air and has an operating range of 60 psi. to 80 psi. The speed of this tester is about zero to five cycles per second or 144,000 cycles in an eight hour period.

This unit is equipped with a countdown cycle counter. The number of cycles required may be pre-set and the tester will then turn off by itself.
