Count Controlled Tester
Use of surface gauge "Z"
Move surface guage in all directions to indicate "test area" parallel to base of machine.
Use double faced sticky tape or clamps to hold specimen to vise/platen assembly.
Also use this surface guage to check the rocker arm to sliding gage pin relationship.
